Flu and COVID-19 Vaccinations at Your Pharmacy

For people aged 60 and over, the flu vaccination is covered by statutory health insurance as a standard vaccination. The COVID-19 vaccination is covered as a standard vaccination for people aged 75 and over.

Vaccination may also be recommended and covered for younger people, for example if:

• you have an underlying chronic medical condition
• you work in healthcare or nursing and have direct contact with patients
• you are in close contact with people who are at increased risk or require care

Please feel free to speak to our pharmacy team. We will be happy to advise you personally on the vaccination that is right for you and on the available reimbursement options. For patients with private health insurance, we charge a €20.00 administration fee for the vaccination. Please check with your private health insurer in advance whether this fee is reimbursable.

Which vaccines do we offer?

Flu
For people under the age of 60, we use the standard-dose flu vaccine. For people aged 60 and over, we use the high-dose vaccine Efluelda.

COVID-19
We use the Comirnaty vaccine by BioNTech (LP8.1).

It is possible to receive your COVID-19 and flu vaccinations on the same day. Simply book a separate appointment for each vaccination.

We administer vaccinations in accordance with the latest STIKO recommendations. Our specially trained pharmacists will be happy to provide you with any further information you may need.
